Review of Canon Powershot A70
3.2 Mpix is just fine. The only reason
to get 5.0 Mpix or higher is if you're making posters or just want to
say "it's a 5.0 Mpix". My opinion is don't waste your money, just get
this camera. It'll do everything and anything that "joe-shmoe" picture
taker needs. With that in mind, the Canon Powershot A70 is a fine digital
camera with a video mode of up to 3 minutes and other useful and cool
features. The camera has a 3x optical zoom and 3.2x digital zoom (9.6x
total) which is really good for a cheap, yet quite lasting and durable,
digital camera. 3.2 mega pixel sensor captures enough detail to create
photo-quality 8 x 10 prints and medium-quality prints up to 11 x 14,
so unless you're making posters, this camera is right for you.

The auto focuser works quite well after the first 20 shots or so, and
if you need a quick picture, just press the shoot button, and it will
try the best it can (which is usually very very good,) and then take
the picture. The only complaint i can really think of this camera is
that the 16mb memory card that the camera comes with really isn't enough,
I recomend getting a 256 card, you'll probably never have to take it
out, just shoot dl delete then shoot again.
