You are here: Home > PC Game Reviews > Battlefield 2 Review This Battlefield 2 review was written by Sean Battlefield 2 came out on June 22, 2005 and it has raised a commotion since then. Like many other Battlefield fans I love this knew game, and even if you aren’t a fan this will amaze you. Some great features in the game are the great graphics, the improved helicopter flying, and commanding skills. In Battlefield 2 you can play as three different militaries the U.S., the Chinese, and the Middle Eastern Coalition. With the new gaming engine it is no sunrise the graphics are intense. The environment looks so real. As you are driving, a jeep can almost feel the sand that’s flying around you as your going downhill. As you are a passenger on a helicopter you could admire the environment form a birds eye view and you wont even notice the apache attacking you from behind.
As I was mentioning, the helicopter flying has improved for all you helicopter driving fans like myself. Now when you are driving the helicopter in Battlefield 2 you only have to hold W when you are taking off and when you want to go faster. In the attack helicopter there are two seats one controls the helicopter and the other controls the heavy machine gun. On the transport the first seat only controls the helicopter. There are usually at least 2 heavy machine guns and there are spots to sit for the transports. Now there are better tactics and communication with the whole team because of the commanding positions. Now one of the players on your team can apply at the beginning of the round to be the main commander, commander of a squad, or you could just join a squad. The main commander is in charge of supply drops, scan, UAV scanning, give commands to squad leaders and your artillery. The supplies drop supplies you with ammunition, but try not to have it land on you or it will kill you. Scan, scans the whole map for enemies, for a shot period of time. UAV scanning scans a selected area for a longer period of time. You can give command to squad leaders which they carry out with their squad. Last but not least you control the artillery which always lets you siege an area with bombardment. In conclusion,
I give Battlefield 2 9.5/10 rating! Buy Battlefield 2
