Welcome to the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction Review page: America (the book) is not by any means a regular history book of America. It is a facetious political satire by The Daily Show with Job Stewart. From the very begining with a foreward by our very own former president Thomas Jefferson, to the very end with a depiction how much the rest of the world sucks, this book is a must read. Even Abraham Lincoln says about American (the book) - "I would certainly read this book if I were alive today, which, for all you geniuses out there, I am not." After buying this book from Amazon, I could not put it down. I literally read for America the book for an entire day straight. The interesting thing is that I actually learned something about how every branch of our government works. While many things are facts, others are simply fabrications of the truth. My favorite parts occured when Samantha Bee told us "would you mind if I told you how we do it in Canada?" If you plan on beccoming a president or creating a democratic nation, this is a must read book. Many inherant truths are debunked, such as corporate donations and the ultimate quagmire of freedom - lobbyists ("whose sole job is to insure, through persuasive argument and financial remuneration, that Congress never forgets the people's wishes. Especially the people's wishes for deregulation". ) Also, America the Book, A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction also exposes the 24 hour media channels such as CNN. Giving about 7 minutes of actual news, the other 23 hours and 53 minutes is all crap. You have to read pages 138-139 for the full scoop :). Don't wait, get America the book as
soon as possible, so you too can understand how America really works! Buy America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction
